National Night Out

Signal Hill's award winning National Night Out event that promotes police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods safer and better places to live. National Night Out is held every year on the first Tuesday of August.

Senior citizens learn how to protect themselves from identity theft, credit card fraud and other scams. This event is sponsored by the Police Foundation.

Christmas Card Design Contest

The Police Foundation provides awards to elementary school students that win the Police Department Christmas Card Design Contest. The winning design is used by the Police Department for its annual Christmas Card.
